Favorite Notification When the phone beeps and the screen lights up I turn my head to look it in the face, And when I see your name on it, My face automatically lights up, As my heart skips a beat, Readying itself for what lies ahead. When your name pops up It wipes the slate of all my worries clean, Everything around me completely disappears, And all that is left, is you, me, and my unbreakable smile My heart senses it too, Even without looking, sometimes I automatically know its you on the other end, So even though I'm tired, My brain remembers it not and freshens up, Like I just woke up from a peaceful sleep.
