Another day, another dollar. Or as I call it at 6:30am: another day, another "five more minutes".

Unpopular opinion maybe, but: once you turn off all the junk, Windows is honestly better than Linux for most people. Spent last night disabling telemetry, Copilot, the ads in the start menu and half the "recommended" stuff. What's left is fast, everything just works, and every game runs. Yes, I know. "But you shouldn't have to turn all of that off in the first place." Fair point.
my most played song this year is not something cool. it's not some underground band nobody knows. it's a 2000s eurodance song I play in the car when nobody's watching. windows up. volume way too high. no, I won't tell you which one.
it's past midnight and I just spent 20 minutes reading about why cats knock things off tables. no conclusion. the cat doesn't know either.
WHY DOES MY PHONE GO FROM 15% TO 1% IN FOUR MINUTES BUT TAKES TWO HOURS TO CHARGE FROM 80% TO 100% WHO DESIGNED THIS I JUST WANT TO WATCH ONE MORE VIDEO IN BED IN PEACE
Bonjour à tous je suis a la recherche
It's half past one, the house is still, my brain decides it's time to thrill. It replays things from 2011, and plans my life till 2027. The pillow's warm, the room is dark, my thoughts are running round the park. Tomorrow-me will pay the price. Tonight-me thinks this is quite nice.
I got logged out automatically from my account and it's now I succeeded in logging in back... What happened?
Die "Künstliche Intelligenz" verändert unsere Welt. Aber macht sie unser Leben wirklich besser oder werden wir irgendwann doch zu abhängig von ihr? KI: Fluch oder Segen für unsere Menschheit?
reread Tschick by Wolfgang Herrndorf this week. in english it's called "Why We Took the Car". two 14 year old outsiders, a stolen Lada, summer holidays, no plan. that's it. had to read it in school back then and thought it was just ok. reading it again now as an adult hits completely different. it's funny, but it's also about that one summer where everything felt possible. german classic. short. go.
