Saw this today: the EU just approved €319 million in state aid for a new chip factory in Austria. Two years ago my laptop repair took six weeks because "the part is stuck somewhere in Asia". So yeah, I'm all for building more of this stuff in Europe. Maybe one day "made in Europe" will be printed on the inside of our phones too.
Meta and Snap are in court again. This time a jury decides whether their apps harmed teenagers. Curious how this ends. Feels like it's about time someone asked these questions in court.
