باربار با خود گفته‌ام: «این‌قدر ته‌و‌بالا می‌روی، آخرش چه؟ بله، رشته‌ات عالی‌ست، می‌توان گفت که آیندهٔ خوبی هم در انتظار ماست اما به کدام قیمت؟». این رفت‌وآمدهای روزگار، آن هم در روزهایی که هیچ‌چیز معیار عقل نیست، برای چه و برای کی‌ها تحمل می‌کنیم. روزگاری که از هرجهت مسیرمان را مسدود می‌کند، همان مسیرهایی که باید طی شود وگرنه تمام کارهای ما به «هیچ» خلاصه می‌شود. ثانیه‌ثانیهٔ این راه گلوی ما را می‌فشارد و این را گوش‌زد می‌کند که باید با انگیزهٔ بیشتر از روزهای قبل به راه‌مان ادامه بدهیم. بله، باید ادامه بدهیم و جز این کار، کار دیگر از دست‌مان برنمی‌آید.
