These terms apply to raffles on tellmelo, starting with the raffle behind door 24 of the Advent calendar. Anyone who takes a ticket agrees to them.
Organizer
The organizer is Blackline Development Inh. Sebastian Ostermeier , with the details in the imprint. Apple, Google and other app stores do not organize the raffle, do not sponsor it and are not involved with it in any way.
Free of charge
Taking part is free of charge and does not depend on any purchase. A plan, sparks or looks do not improve the chance of winning. Each person can have one ticket per raffle, even if they have several accounts.
Who can take part
- Natural persons who are at least 18 years old on the day of the draw. You confirm your age with your date of birth when you take a ticket; only the fact that you confirmed it is stored.
- With a personal account on tellmelo that was created before 1 December and is not suspended. Accounts of companies and associations and automated accounts do not take part.
- Anyone who has opened 16 of doors 1 to 23 of the Advent calendar.
- Members of the tellmelo team and supervised accounts cannot take part.
Period
Tickets are available as soon as the 16th door is open, until 24 December at 6 pm German time.
Prize
The prize is 100 euros, at your choice as a payment via PayPal or as a voucher from a retailer that you name and from whom we can buy a voucher. The prize cannot be transferred to anyone else.
How the draw works
- At 6 pm the list of tickets closes. We publish it with the ticket number and code of each ticket, without names, and with its hash (SHA-256). After that, no ticket can change. Only you can see your ticket number and your code.
- At 7 pm we draw using the public random number of the drand service (quicknet) for the round of that moment. We name the round in advance; nobody knows the random number in advance, not even us.
- The winning ticket is the one whose position in the list sorted in ascending order equals the remainder left when the random number is divided by the number of tickets (counting from 0).
- The list, round, random number and result are public at
/api/advent-raffle, so anyone can recalculate the draw.
Notification and payout
Whoever has won is told by a notification in tellmelo. In the Advent calendar, you choose the payout within 14 days and give the PayPal address or the retailer. Before the payout, you show us an identity document so that we can check your age; afterwards we delete the copy.
If you do not respond in time or do not meet the conditions, we draw again in the same way, with the round a few minutes after our decision and without the tickets already drawn. We only publish the name of the person who won with their consent.
Exclusion
Anyone who manipulates the raffle, uses several accounts for more tickets or breaches the Terms can be excluded. A ticket already drawn then lapses, and we draw again.
Cancellation
For good cause, for example a technical fault or manipulation, we can postpone or cancel the raffle. We will then say so in the Advent calendar.
Data
Which data we process for the raffle, and for how long, is set out in the privacy policy.
German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.
