Maintenance with no fixed end date — making Clovord noticeably faster and more stable We're entering a maintenance window with no fixed end date. This isn't a quick hotfix or a small tweak. We're deliberately taking time to rework the client and our services: load paths, data flow, the gateway, and the places where the app still "catches up" after you land — delayed tabs, lists that only settle later, and the other friction that makes everyday use feel slower and jumpy than it should. Our goal isn't to make one thing better. We want the before and after to feel obvious: Clovord should feel faster, respond more immediately, and overall feel calmer and more reliable. That means more work than a single update would need — and that's exactly why we need this longer window. During this time, Clovord may be limited or temporarily unavailable. We'll post updates here on Tellmelo as soon as we have news or a path back to normal service. Thank you for your patience. What comes next should be worth the wait. ✦ Product update Development Update: Android App ──────── Hey everyone, We have decided to officially discontinue further development of the Clovord Android app for the time being. Developing and maintaining a dedicated mobile client requires significant time, maintenance, and resources. Given the very low engagement, lack of active test feedback, and the constraints of the Google Play testing process, continuing mobile development right now is simply not sustainable. What this means: * The Android closed test and app builds will no longer receive updates. * Active development and maintenance for the mobile app are discontinued. * Existing builds will remain as-is for now, but will no longer be supported or patched. Our priority and resources will now go entirely into the web platform and core desktop experience, where they have the biggest impact. If demand and resources justify it in the future, we may revisit mobile development at a later stage. Thank you to everyone who took the time to check out the test builds. — Clovord

✦ Update Desktop Update We had an issue with the Desktop App affecting the self updater that broke after trying to install. After 1 Day work time and much tears, we finally got a fix for the issue. Users with the Desktop App have to make sure that theyre running at least v1.0.274 or more in order to receive auto updates. Any version before contains a broken AutoUpdating system. Maintenance Completed We have finished our maintenance and processed al bugs that have been reported trough the BugReport feature Also we implemented 2 new features/improvements 1. Roles and Channels now have a nice Drag&Drop function that exactly show what you currently hold in your hands 2. Roles can now be assigned directly to a member by rightclicking the user and klick on "Roles". This gives you a list of roles that you simply klick on to assign or remove user roles #clovord #maintenance #update #communication #chat #bugs
