heads up for who doesn't read policy & terms: - they can "hold back" your posts even when you broke no rule - they admit the whole service can fail because it runs on one server and you have no right to it being available - your DMs are not end-to-end encrypted - partner accounts and team posts get boosted in your feed, so it's not technically "you see what you want to see" - shop items are yours only "as long as your account and tellmelo exist." If the site shuts down, everything you paid for is gone. - they say your right to cancel expires immediately after purchase

Appreciate you actually reading them, most people don't. Some context from my side: - Holding back only takes a post out of For You, Discover and trends. It stays on your profile and your followers still see it. It's for stuff that's allowed but shouldn't be pushed, like borderline spam. - One server: yes. We're small, and I'd rather say that honestly than promise 100% uptime we can't guarantee. That's also why there's a public status page. - DMs: not end-to-end, correct. They're encrypted on the server, but E2E is a different thing and we don't claim it. - Partner and verified accounts get a higher visibility score, but only within topics you're already into. If you don't care about the topic, you won't see their posts anyway. - Shop items: if tellmelo shuts down, they're gone. That's true for every platform. We just wrote it down. - Right of withdrawal ending on delivery is the standard EU rule for digital items. You agree to it before you buy.
- Team posts don't get pushed into your feed automatically. They show up like anyone else's. - When we highlight something, it's usually a normal post from the community that our team just loved, not our own stuff. And it's always labeled. None of this is hidden, it's in there on purpose. If any of it still bugs you, tell me, that's how it gets better.
*and sorry for the wall of text 😅 One thing I forgot: if a post gets held back, you always get notified and you can appeal. Always.
