Germany's Bundestag just approved the "Frühstartrente", an early-start pension for kids 🇩🇪 How it works: - The state puts €10 a month into an investment account for every child, from age 6 to 18 - It starts with kids born in 2020 - That adds up to €1,440 from the state in total - If parents don't open an account, the money gets invested anyway The government's own example: with 7% return a year, that could grow to around €53,000 by age 65. That's an assumption, not a guarantee. Anyone born before 2020 gets nothing from it. So, what do you think: a smart start, or way too little?
