eight big UK newspapers, from The Guardian to The Sun, just asked the prime minister to back a law against sneaky AI bots 🤖 the idea: any bot visiting a UK website would have to say who runs it, how to contact them and what it wants the content for, like search or AI training honestly overdue. if a bot wants to read my stuff, it can at least introduce itself
